Have been playing around with the amazing Contact-form-7 plugin for wordpress and trying to get the form to SMS the website owner when someone fills out the form

Why would I need this?

I have been creating lead generating website for local business, especially those business that are always on the move. I wanted a way for the business owner to get the lead SMS straight to them, rather than wait until they got back to their PC.

I have started using an SMS service called

160.com.au

It has a neat feature called “email to SMS”

So I set up a bcc in my contact-form-7 plugin to send an email to 160.com.au and now my client gets leads straight to his phone. I spoke to him 2days ago, and he is claiming thY he is converting 3 out of 4 leads into paying customers. A huge improvement over what was happening before
